Screen Control
Screen Control via RS-232 - Power On-Off based on Operating Hours.
Overview
The Screen Control feature allows displays to power on and off automatically according to their assigned operating hours. During operating hours, this feature will also send an automatic "ON" command based on your desired interval to ensure devices stay on during these times.

How to Use Screen Control
- Request access to Screen Control for your organisation
- Contact support@dooh.ly to request access to Screen Control.
- Accessing Screen Control
- Log in to your Doohly Web App.
- Navigate to a device.
- Click on the Settings tab.
- Adjusting Screen Control
- Adjust the operating hours to match your preferred schedule.
- Toggle to enable Screen Control.
- Select your screen model from our list of supported models.
- Make sure your device is physically connected to the screen via a COM Port.
- Select the COM Port (aka Communication Port/Serial Port).
- Optionally specify how many minutes before and after operating hours you would like the screen to turn on/off.

- Applying Changes
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
- The updated screen control settings will sync automatically with your device.

Troubleshooting
The display isn’t turning on/off as expected:
- Ensure the RS-232 interface is properly connected.
- Verify that the display model supports RS-232 commands for power control.
- Confirm that the operating hours have been set correctly in the Doohly Web App.
