Statuses Overview

What Is A Status

Statuses are generally used to indicate what stage or step a booking is in. These status indicators are used for a two main reasons, organisation/categorisation and more importantly, to allow bookings to play.

Statuses In Doohly

Within Doohly, statuses are used for both Campaigns and Bookings to indicate if they are to be played on devices, or have finished and are no longer being played. There are currently 6 statuses that can be assigned; Draft, Booked (Bookings), Active (Campaigns), Paused, Completed and Archived.

It’s important to note that booking and campaign statuses interact with each other in the following manner:

  • Bookings will only play if its status is set to booked and the campaign it’s assigned to (if it has one) is set to active.
  • If a booking or campaign has a status of completed or archived you will not be able to edit any fields, other than the status.
  • If a booking’s campaign is set to completed or archived, then you will not be able to edit any fields on a booking, including the status.
