Doohly Player Version 4.2.1

The following updates will require all Doohy Player versions to be updated to 4.2.1.

Transitions

Transitions are now available, enabling users to specify if they would like to have a crossfade transition between creatives. Transitions are set and managed at a Frames level, similar to Loop Policies.

  • Transitions can be enabled and disabled
  • Transitions can have custom durations
  • Currently only crossfade transitions are supported. To request additional transitions please contact [email protected]

Hardware Acceleration

Note: Not all devices will support Hardware Acceleration

Hardware Acceleration is now available, enabling users to get better performance from their devices that struggle with high-resolution/bitrate videos. 

Hardware Acceleration is available on Windows & Linux media players and is enabled in device settings.

  • Hardware Acceleration can be enabled and disabled
  • Your device must have supported hardware
  • Doohly must be restarted for changes to take effect
