Doohly Player Version 4.0

The following updates will require all Doohy Player versions to be updated to 4.0.

Loop Policies

Loop policies are now live, enabling users to define the number of slots that are played within a loop and specify what their default slot duration is.

Loop policies are set at a frame level.
By default, loops are 6 slots, creative duration is based on what is specified when your space is created.

Programmatic Content

Programmatic packages are now supported at a loop policy level.

Loop policies can reserve any number of slots for programmatic packages
Loop policies can fill vacant slots in a loop with programmatic packages

Creative Playback Length

When adding creatives to bookings, users can choose between “Custom” and “Inherit” for the duration of the creative.

Inherit: Uses slot duration set on the loop policy that the frame uses.
Custom: Set any length of duration (only applicable if overbooking is enabled)

Playback Frequency

“Creative Play Method” has been replaced with “Playback Frequency” on the Bookings screen.
Users can define how many creatives in the booking will play each loop.
Users can define if creatives will play consecutively within loops.

UI Updates

Removed drop-down box for selecting page sizes.
Bookings screens now show how many creatives and frames are assigned to the said booking.

Bug Fixes

Devices no longer reset to fullscreen when settings are updated.
HTML creatives no longer cause a blank screen when loading external images/resources.
Devices can be registered when the canvas is set to fullscreen.
